I didn’t start my career thinking I would one day coach leaders, speak to organizations, or build a company dedicated to helping people reach their next level. I started as someone who wanted to grow, someone determined to become better, to learn, and to serve.
My early years in the workforce taught me that talent opens doors, but growth keeps them open. I found myself in roles that stretched me, challenged me, and demanded a level of leadership I hadn’t yet developed. Each position, from federal and state government to private-sector management, brought new lessons about people, influence, communication, and purpose. I saw brilliant professionals undervalue themselves, teams struggling to connect, and leaders trying to navigate complex change without the support they needed. And slowly, something clicked: I realized I wasn’t just passionate about doing the work, I was passionate about developing people.
As I took on greater responsibility, I also grew in vision. I became the person colleagues called when they wanted clarity. The one employee sought when they needed encouragement. The person they turned to when they needed structure, direction, or a voice that could break down complexity into simple, actionable steps.
Somewhere along the way, serving others became the foundation of my leadership.
Serving their goals.
Serving their growth.
Serving the version of themselves they didn’t yet see.
Years of coaching, managing teams, navigating organizational change, and leading high-stakes initiatives revealed a truth that shaped my mission: people aren’t lacking potential; they’re lacking guidance, confidence, and a roadmap.
That realization inspired the creation of Elwyn Rainer 2 LLC.
I wanted to build something bigger than a coaching service. I wanted to create a platform where professionals at every level could learn how to lead with purpose, grow with intention, and succeed on their terms. A place where organizations could empower their workforce, where employees could see their own value, and where leaders could finally develop the skills that transform culture, not just performance.
My journey led to writing books that help people elevate their careers, launching E2esday post and articles to encourage and equip professionals weekly, and speaking to audiences ready to grow but needing someone to show them the way. Everything I do in every workshop, talk, and coaching session is grounded in the belief that everyone has a “next level” and sometimes needs the right voice to help them step into it.
Today, I use lessons from my career, leadership experiences, and personal growth to empower individuals and organizations to become stronger, more confident, and more effective. I help people navigate the workplace with clarity. I help teams communicate better, perform better, and lead better. And I do it because I know what it’s like to want more, work for more, and become more.
This is my story, but it’s also the beginning of yours.
